After 15 years of providing Creative Staffing for a Creative World, Big Fish will be shutting down its contingent staffing services in order to launch rezzem.com, a career management platform that will greatly streamline the hiring process. In a move designed to take advantage of the latest developments in technology, Big Fish will incorporate all of its staffing knowledge and experience to rezzem.com's comprehensive platform.
"This is an exciting time for us," says co-founder Mike Synoground. "After 15 years of working in the staffing industry we are leveraging our experiences and our proprietary software to provide a better way to connect job seekers with employers."
With the advances in technology and the expansion of the dynamic work force, Big Fish saw an opportunity to refine the job-seeking process. rezzem.com is uniquely positioned to expand and build upon its advanced staffing software platform, enabling the company to pair employers with professionals quickly and efficiently.
The designers and developers behind rezzem.com have long recognized the value of online software and its potential to improve job seeking and hiring; given the proper tools, users are at the point where they can manage their relationships directly with potential employers that's where rezzem.com comes in. rezzem.com's tools allow the job seeker and the employer to find and interact with each other directly, creating a frictionless relationship between the two.
There will be a BETA launch of the site in spring 2010 . All accounts on the site both potential employers and employees will be offered at no cost throughout the BETA period. The site is scheduled to launch officially in fall 2010.
Big Fish Studios will continue to develop proprietary software and provide site management, design, and development for clients; however, to reinforce the change in focus, the company will undergo a rebrand; the new moniker is bigfixh.
