The ShareBuilder from ING DIRECT marketing department is the engine that propels our business forward, managing a mix of activities that grow our customer base, drive revenue and enhance the overall customer experience. Areas of concentration include Promotion and Acquisition, Market and Customer Research, Media Relations, and Customer Relationship Management.
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst is responsible for representing Marketing in cross-departmental initiatives, serving as the subject matter expert for the Investment Services Team, with a primary focus on analyzing the impact of potential and new business initiatives. This requires an in-depth knowledge of our products, policies, systems and procedures. It also requires a demonstrated ability to make key decisions and influence others at varying levels throughout the organization. Outputs include integrated business analysis plans, business requirement documents, business case documents, industry benchmarking information and competitor analysis.
Responsibilities
- Proactively participate in projects, representing the voice of Marketing, managing project details and driving deliverables.
- Use process design methodologies to map out key activities, gather industry and competitor research, host roundtables to collect feedback and use the findings to help solve problems, drive projects and key deliverables.
- Develop justification and analysis of new product impacts and/or potential effect enhancements will have and drive related projects accordingly.
- Present findings of any formal analyses to Marketing Associates and other ShareBuilder teams.
- Produce RFPs as part of a selection process for potential new service providers.
Qualifications
- Experience with business analysis and/or project management strongly preferred
- Ability to understand and respond to technical requirement documents, as written by IT partners
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- A self-starter who is able to identify improvements, make critical decisions and work with subject matter experts throughout the bank to get the ideas implemented
- Ability to multi-task while managing multiple projects from end to end, in a demanding and rapidly-changing environment
- Strong knowledge of bank policies, procedures, systems and processes
- Strong solution-oriented focus when troubleshooting problems
- Ability to interface with, deliver recommendations to, and as needed influence Leaders throughout the organization
